After reading Soul Graffiti last fall, we have attempted to consistently follow up on the idea of ”experiments in truth“. The idea is simple: We pick an action, specific or general, that relates to the way of Jesus, and then we invite each other to try it in the same time frame. Here’s what we’re trying this week– Ryan Long explains:
As a group we have been discussing conversations Jesus had with people in the Gospel of John. Our experiment this week is to enter a conversation with a freind, co-worker, family member, etc…and be intentional about sharing our faith with them. Open up, be honest, talk about life with God, go deep, and don’t hold back. Next Thursday, be prepared to share your experience.
Well, we are done with our book study of Soul Graffiti. If you missed our last week, we got a chance to have a video chat with the author Mark Scandrette. It was a really special time for the group, and we were able to record the conversation that includes some of our own crew sharing meaningful parts of the book, questions for Mark, and comments and insight he shared with us. Thanks Mark!
it’s our final week in Soul Graffiti. we have some exciting things planned for Thursday night, including a group chat with Mark Scandrette. Here on the site, Ryan Long brings us home with a brilliant summary that is less statements and more questions. Consider his challenges, and come ready to share your heart Thursday! even if you’ve missed some of the study or are just getting back in town for Christmas, come join us in the GP at 7! For Ryan’s weekly soul, read on….
