drybones

starting this thursday & every 3rd Thursday, we’ll be feeding a fresh meal to some of Denver’s homeless teens through Drybones…  here’s a look at some of the kids that participate:

what would you do….

from last night, below is that segment of ABC’s “what would you do?” Click on the link to see other episodes.  As I said, some are funny, others a bit more heavy.   Remember John the Baptists demand to “produce fruit in keeping with repentance!”  Next Thursday, we’ll get specific as we share ways individually and as a group that we are taking action in the Way of Jesus…

200398420-001“If Christians in the U.S. would be quiet for a year and only do good works, that would be evangelism. Our actions are way behind our words.” —Dieter Zander

“…If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”  - Book of James
