Several weeks ago, we had a Sunday morning service revolving around the theme of suffering. ’Where is God when it hurts?’ was a primary question in play. Our good friends Jon & Julie Burns graciously shared their story, and the hard path they walked with their daughter Chloe’s leukemia. This is really worthy to watch if you missed it… Probably the strongest stuff here is watching a husband & wife dialoguing so honestly about their pain, & hearing the very different ways they each continue to process together.
