Going into next week’s historic election, we thought we’d offer two different perspectives from two good friends, Ben Watson and Lauren McLeary, about the Presidential candidates. For many of us who’ve participated in discussion about the next president, there’s been a tendency to play into the negative, polarized nature of politics. As a starting point to this feature, both Ben and Lauren agreed to the fact that people we know, love and respect will be voting either way next Tuesday. Secondly, they both agreed that neither McCain nor Obama is ideal or will create perfect change. Lastly, they attempted to include reasons there faith informed there vote while summarizing the reasons for their choice.
